Gabi Frank is a great composer, exceptional human being, and dear friend of 45th Parallel Universe. We are exceedingly honored and proud to work with Gabi and the brilliant folks at the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music to present three world premieres this season by GLFCAM composers Brandon Scott Rumsey, Nina Shekhar, and Marco-Adrian Ramos.

For Gabi and the composers of GLFCAM, music is the medium for being responsible global citizens. They are a new breed of artists who lead by example, highlighting important social issues like global warming, diversity, and inclusion, and using music to support local communities, and in doing so bridging cultural divides that have recently grown depressingly wide.
